We're really proud to now support the EarthLungs Mangrove Restoration Project — it's a powerful initiative that's dedicated to reviving Kenya's fragile coastal ecosystems while giving disadvantaged communities a proper boost.

Mangroves are basically environmental superheroes — they protect coastlines, absorb carbon like nobody's business, and support wildlife. The thing is, over 35% of the world's mangroves have been lost since 1980 (which is pretty alarming when you think about it).

Why Mangroves Matter

  • 🌊 They protect coastlines from erosion and storm surges (nature's own sea defences, really)
  • 🐘 Provide essential habitat for local wildlife — we're talking elephants, comb ducks, and even aardvarks
  • 💨 Absorb up to 0.31 tonnes of CO₂ per tree (that's proper climate action right there)
  • 👩🌾 Create employment: 20+ workdays per 10,000 trees planted (supporting families and communities)
